An extensive network of NGOs, civic groups and institutions have joined together to organize the world’s biggest cleanup action – World Cleanup Day – uniting 150 countries on the 15th of September 2018.
Civic activists from 65 countries will gather in Estonia’s capital, Tallinn, from January 26 to 29, for a Clean World Conference to make plans to clean up the world from waste in just one day, September 8, 2018.
A groundbreaking new global vision for a future free from plastic pollution has been released today by a network of 90 NGOs. The vision lays out 10 principles with the ultimate goal being ‘a future free from plastic pollution’.
More than 2,7 million people from 20 countries joined Let’s Do It! cleanups in April and in May. The cleanups were accompanied with festivals and events to draw attention to the growing problem of illegal waste.
